Hi, I’m Sérgio. After spending 15 years in the surf world, traveling the globe in search of great waves and honing my skills, I decided to create a surf school that emphasizes not only learning how to surf but understanding the ocean.

In 2024, I founded Ocean Origin with a mission to provide tailored surf lessons that cater to each student’s needs, whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to improve your technique. We focus on creating a learning environment that is safe, welcoming, and designed to help you progress at your own pace.

Our location, just outside Porto, offers perfect conditions for beginner and intermediate surfers, with waves that are ideal for learning and improving. We are committed to giving you the skills and confidence you need to enjoy surfing to the fullest.
